As promised, here are the slides and code examples for my CF.Objective() 2008 presentation. Feel free to post any comments or questions and I'll get to them asap.

As I mentioned after the presentation, I'm also going to be putting together an intermediate version of this talk covering more complex patterns. Also, I have been told that CF.Objective() 2009 will be tentatively scheduled for May 6-9. So now you have plenty of time to begin schmoozing your bosses to let you go. I have to say that this is THE conference for learning the high level skills needed to build enterprise level applications in ColdFusion.

Comments
My biggest takeaway from cfObjective() 2008 was the importance and value of design patterns. And yes, I would love to see you extend your talk to cover intermediate patterns.

@Bruce

That's great to hear! As I said during the presentation, don't be afraid to think outside the box, however Design Patterns have been tested and proved to work for those situations that it's a great asset in our tool box.

Thanks for your feedback.

Cheers..

great blog! Thank you for posting practical, real-world information about using Coldfusion - useful and much appreciated. rather new in this stuff, I pay much attention to self-education. have used to find great blogs with useful pieces of information by http://torrents.rapid4me.com search engine, but always search for smth more. really glad to find good ones. Is there any chance you will be posting a recording or your materials after you've presented. I'm not going to be able to fly out. I haven't seen this in action and would be really interested checking out your material.
